How to delete Google search history on browser, Firefox, internet explorer

Most of the people want to clear there search history in google to make personal thing private. Here is the way How to delete google Search History from search box, google toolbar and also browser history like firefox and internet explorer.

Under your Gmail account setting / privacy and security. You can disable remember search History.

 How to clear google searches history for internet explorer and Firefox.  

Remove or delete search history from the Google search box For Internet Explorer.

Toolbar search box. The search history is stored into your browser not in google. So you need to remove your browser search history.

Steps to delete google search history on Internet Explorer.

1) Open your internet explorer.
2) Click on tool tab.
3) In drop down menu select “Internet Options”.
4) Insider internet option click on “content” tab.
5) In “personal information” select “Auto complete”.
6) And then click “clear forms”.
7) This will delete all current history from the browser.

How to disable google search history.

8) To disable this feature entirely, deselect the “form” box.

How to remove selected individual Search entry.

 If you want to remove individual entry from search history then by using down arrow key highlight search and then pressing the delete key.
 

Steps to delete search history from Firefox browser. 

1. Open Firefox click on “tool” menu.
2. Select “option” and then choose “Privacy” tab.
3. Inside privacy tab within “saved form information”.
You find two option,
1) To clear the current history, click on “Clear”.
{This will clear current history from Firefox and keep history in future}

2)To disable this feature entirely, uncheck the “Save information I enter in web page forms and the search bar”.
{This will clear history when every time you close your Firefox browser}

Another way to remove the search history from google search box is, put your mouse in the search box and right click and choose clear history.

To delete individual Search entries in Firefox.

Use drop down arrow highlight search and press shift + delete key.

You have to delete search history from the Toolbar separately.
To completely disable your Toolbar’s search history
1. In the google toolbar Select the “Options”
2. and Un-check the box that indicate “Drop-down search history”

To remove present search history:

1. Click the Google logo inside the google toolbar.
2. Select the “Clear Search History” option.

To completely disable Google bar’s search history:
1. Click on the Google bar logo at the left side of the bar.
2. Select “Google bar Options”.
3. Select the Miscellaneous tab.
4. In the “Save History” section, uncheck “Preserve the search history across browser sessions”.
